[:de]Das Spektrum urbaner Aktivitäten ist breit und erfordert ganz unterschiedliche Skills. Ihnen allen gemeinsam ist, dass sie Menschen mitten in der Stadt zusammenbringen, um eine Leidenschaft zu teilen und einen Austausch zu schaffen. Für diesen Nachmittag wird der Wall zum Treffpunkt.

Während Fans des Hip Hop an diesem Nachmittag voll auf ihre Kosten kommen, sind beim Skate- und BMX-Workshop alle willkommen, die Spaß am Rollen haben – egal, ob es der erste Versuch ist oder schon allerhand Können mitgebracht wird. Erfahrene Trainer stehen an diesem Nachmittag zur Seite, helfen bei den Grundlagen des Fahrens und zeigen coole Tricks. Dazu errichten sie extra einen mobilen Skatepark, ausgestattet mit mehreren Ramps und Rails, die eine herausfordernde Umgebung für Fahrerinnen und Fahrer jeden Levels bieten. Skateboards, BMX-Räder und Schutzausrüstung können bei Bedarf kostenfrei vor Ort ausgeliehen werden.

Beim Pétanque-Workshop ab 17 Uhr können alle Interessierten unter fachmännischer Anleitung eine ruhige Kugel spielen. Dabei werden alle Fragen rund um das Thema Pétanque beantwortet und Grundlagen des französischen Nationalsports nähergebracht. Als Höhepunkt gibt es im Anschluss einen Choc de Champions, bei dem eine Auswahl des Chemnitzer Pétanque-Clubs gegen die Espoir Auswahl des Pétanque-verbandes Ost antritt. Allez les boules!

[:en]The spectrum of urban activities is broad and requires very different skills. What they all have in common is that they bring people together in the middle of the city to share a passion and create an exchange. For this afternoon, the Wall becomes a meeting place.

While fans of hip hop will get their money’s worth this afternoon, the skate and BMX workshop welcomes everyone who enjoys rolling – whether it’s their first attempt or they already have all kinds of skills. Experienced trainers are on hand this afternoon to help with the basics of riding and show cool tricks. For this purpose, they set up a mobile skate park equipped with several ramps and rails that offer a challenging environment for riders of all levels. Skateboards, BMX bikes and protective equipment can be hired free of charge on site if required.

At the pétanque workshop from 5 p.m., anyone interested can play a quiet game under expert guidance. All questions about pétanque will be answered and the basics of the French national sport will be explained. As a highlight, there will be a Choc de Champions afterwards, in which a selection from the Chemnitz Pétanque Club will compete against the Espoir selection from the Pétanque Association East.
