[:de]Berührung und Nichtberührung sind die gefühlvollen Zutaten dieses ausgefeilten Tanz-Duetts. Mit einer Mischung aus Pantomime und abstrakter Bewegung lädt das Paar in einen bewegenden Raum der Intimität und der Gefühle ein, um die Verbindung zwischen Erinnerung, Körpererfahrung und Imagination zu erforschen. Getrieben werden die zwei dabei von den Kompositionen der Elektronikmusikerin Daniella Ljungsberg. Eine ebenso spannende wie innige Exkursion in die Beziehungswelt zweier Menschen, die mit dem Publikum in Resonanz treten.

Die Choreografin und Performerin May Zarhy lebt in Berlin und Tel Aviv. Mit 16 Jahren kreierte sie ihr erstes Stück für die nationale Choreografie-Biennale Shades in Dance in Tel Aviv, bevor sie in die Niederlande zog, wo sie 2006 ihren Abschluss an der Rotterdam Dance Academy erwarb. Während ihres Studiums arbeitete sie auch als Assistentin von William Forsythe bei der Forsythe Company (2005). Im Jahr 2007 absolvierte sie das Postgraduiertenprogramm ex.e.r.ce von Xavier Le Roy und Mathilde Monnier in Montpellier, Frankreich. Später gründete sie zusammen mit Fabrice Mazliah und Ioannis Mandafounis das kollaborative Trio Mamaza, mit dem sie auf der ganzen Welt auftrat. Seit 2014 kreiert Zarhy ihre eigenen Performance-Arbeiten sowie partizipatorische Arbeiten im öffentlichen Raum.

Mifal Hapais Rabinovich-Stiftung für die Künste, Tel Aviv[:en]Touch and non-touch are the soulful ingredients of this sophisticated dance duet. With a mix of mime and abstract movement, the pair invites you into a moving space of intimacy and emotion to explore the connection between memory, bodily experience and imagination. In the process, the two are driven by the compositions of electronic musician Daniella Ljungsberg. An exciting as well as intimate excursion into the relational world of two people who resonate with the audience.
