COMPANY CHAMELEON (GB)
[:de]„Push“ ist ein kraftvolles und einfühlsames Duett, das mit unterschiedlichen Haltungen spielt, die wir einnehmen, um einander zu verstehen und miteinander in Beziehung zu treten. So erforscht das Stück die komplexe Natur unserer Psychologie – wie wir manchmal drängen, um Dominanz und Kontrolle auszuüben und uns andermal entscheiden, zurückzutreten und uns zu unterwerfen.
Die Company Chameleon ist bekannt für ihren einzigartigen und athletischen Tanzstil, geprägt von Anthony Missen und Kevin Edward Turner. Die beiden hatten sich in den 1990er Jahren am Trafford Youth Dance Theatre kennengelernt und ließen sie sich an der Northern School of Contemporary Dance ausbilden. Nach ihrem Abschluss arbeiteten sie mit einigen der innovativsten Tanzkompanien und Choreographen der Welt und gründeten 2007 schließlich ihre eigene Company. Heute ist Company Chameleon international auf Tournee und gibt jedes Jahr über 50 Vorstellungen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Auf diese Weise haben sie Tausenden von jungen Menschen aus aller Welt eine andere Seite des Tanzes und der Bewegung nähergebracht.

The piece explores the complex nature of our psychology – how we sometimes push to exert dominance and control and other times choose to step back and submit.
Company Chameleon is known for its unique and athletic dance style, coined by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner. The pair met at Trafford Youth Dance Theatre in the 1990s and trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. After graduating, they worked with some of the most innovative dance companies and choreographers in the world and eventually founded their own company in 2007. Today, Company Chameleon tours internationally, giving over 50 indoor and outdoor performances each year. In this way, they have introduced thousands of young people from all over the world to a different side of dance and movement.
