[:de]Push ist ein kraftvolles und einfühlsames Männerduett, das die unterschiedlichen Haltungen beleuchtet, die wir einnehmen, um einander zu verstehen und miteinander in Beziehung zu treten. Das Stück erforscht die komplexe Natur unserer Psychologie – wie wir manchmal drängen, um Dominanz und Kontrolle auszuüben, und uns dann wieder entscheiden, uns zu unterwerfen und zurückzutreten.

Die Company Chameleon ist bekannt für ihren einzigartigen und athletischen Tanzstil, geprägt von Anthony Missen und Kevin Edward Turner. Die beiden hatten sich in den 1990er Jahren am Trafford Youth Dance Theatre kennengelernt und ließen sie sich an der Northern School of Contemporary Dance ausbilden. Nach ihrem Abschluss arbeiteten sie mit einigen der innovativsten Tanzkompanien und Choreographen der Welt und gründeten 2007 schließlich ihre eigene Company. Heute ist Company Chameleon international auf Tournee und gibt jedes Jahr über 50 Vorstellungen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Auf diese Weise haben sie Tausenden von jungen Menschen aus aller Welt eine andere Seite des Tanzes und der Bewegung nähergebracht.

 [:en]Push is a powerful and insightful male duet that illuminates the different stances we take to understand and relate to each other. The piece explores the complex nature of our psychology – how we sometimes push to exert dominance and control, and then again choose to submit and step back.

Company Chameleon is known for its unique and athletic style of dance, coined by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner. The two had met at Trafford Youth Dance Theatre in the 1990s and went on to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. After graduating, they worked with some of the most innovative dance companies and choreographers in the world, eventually forming their own company in 2007. Today, Company Chameleon tours internationally, giving over 50 performances each year, both indoors and out. In this way, they have introduced a different side of dance and movement to thousands of young people from all over the world.
