DESCRIPTION:[:de]Die schwimmende Treppe des bildenden Künstlers und Architekten Rob van Dam hat Choreografin Pia Meuthen so sehr fasziniert\, dass sie dafür eigens eine Performance kreierte. Im Tanz auf der schwebenden und kippbaren Treppe steht viel auf dem Spiel: Die sechs Darstellerinnen und Darsteller müssen sofort auf die Bewegung untereinander und des Objekts reagieren. Es zeigt sich dabei zugleich ein Streben nach Macht\, aber auch die Abhängigkeit voneinander und von größeren unkontrollierbaren Elementen. Jede Bewegung auf der Treppe verlangt eine Reaktion von allen Tänzerinnen und Tänzern\, die über 45 Minuten die Spannung des Zirkus und die Beredsamkeit des Tanzes gut vereinen. \nDie Choreografin Pia Meuthen findet ihre Inspiration in Literatur und Philosophie und setzt sie dann in poetische Bilder um. A lot is at stake in the dance on the floating and tilting staircase: the six performers have to react immediately to each other’s movement and that of the object. At the same time\, there is a striving for power\, but also a dependence on each other and on larger uncontrollable elements.
