DESCRIPTION:[:de]Die Teilnehmer:innen des Chemnitz 2025-Projekts „Tanzende Nachbarn“ zeigen am Dienstag\, 8. Oktober auf dem Tag der Älteren erstmals ihre Tanzperformance. \nIm Chemnitz 2025-Projekt „Tanzende Nachbarn“ proben ältere Menschen seit mehreren Monaten zeitgenössischen Tanz und Bewegung\, angeleitet von der Tänzerin Terrry Pedersen Pfeiffer. Älteren Menschen soll die Möglichkeit gegeben werden\, mit professionellen Künstler:innen zusammenzuarbeiten\, etwas Neues auszuprobieren\, aktiv zu bleiben und im Kulturhauptstadtprogramm mit kleinen Auftritten sichtbar zu werden.\nAuf dem Tag der Älteren im Kulturkaufhaus DAStietz werden die Tanzenden Nachbarn ihre Tanzperformance erstmals öffentlich zeigen. Weitere Auftritte sind unter anderem beim Opening des Kulturhauptstadtjahres am 18.1.2025 und im Verlaufe des Jahres geplant. \nEs wird zudem einen Informationsstand des Teams Generationen geben\, an dem Interessierte sich über das Programm für ältere Menschen informieren können.[:en]The participants of the Chemnitz 2025 project “Dancing Neighbors” will present their dance performance for the first time on Tuesday\, October 8 at the Day of Older People. \nIn the Chemnitz 2025 project “Dancing Neighbors”\, older people have been rehearsing contemporary dance and movement for several months\, led by dancer Terrry Pedersen Pfeiffer. The aim is to give older people the opportunity to work together with professional artists\, try out something new\, stay active and become visible in the Capital of Culture program with small performances.\nThe Dancing Neighbors will present their dance performance to the public for the first time on the Day of the Elderly in the DAStietz cultural department store. Further performances are planned\, including at the opening of the Capital of Culture year on 18.1.2025 and over the course of the year. \nThere will also be an information stand run by the Generations team\, where interested parties can find out more about the program for older people.[:]
