International ballet gala at the turn of the year

Let’s ring in the countdown together. Four hours before Chemnitz starts the new year as European Capital of Culture, we will take you on a danced journey across the continent.

Ballett Chemnitz has invited top-class guests from renowned international ensembles – and will be performing on stage together with sought-after soloists.
Performers include Maria Yakovleva and Louis Scrivener from the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest and Eno Peçi from the Vienna State Ballet. Dmitry Zagrebin from the Royal Swedish Ballet Stockholm and István Simon from Hungary will also be there, along with other guests, when a breathtaking program ranging from classical ballet to contemporary dance is set to delight audiences.
