About us
Founded on June 19, 2019, Tanz | Moderne | Tanz e.V. has stood for the promotion of contemporary dance in Chemnitz ever since. In particular, through cooperation with dance-promoting and dance-spreading institutions at home and abroad, the aim is to provide constant impetus for the development of the genre and the acquisition of new audiences. The international festival Tanz | Moderne | Tanz, initiated by the association, promotes interdisciplinary cooperation between artists, enables residencies, the conquest of public space through dance and education projects for all generations. In this way, urban dance is finding more and more space in the public life of the city.
