MINI MOVERS – creative program for children aged 3 to 8.

This time, the theme is “The Blue Bird or The Search for Happiness” – because at 10:00 a.m. on October 18, 2025, you can experience the matinee performance of Sabrina Sadowska’s ballet, which will premiere on November 8, 2025, at the opera house. Not only will the concept and the production team be presented, but there will also be short excerpts from the production to be seen on the stage of the Opera House.

For the very little ones who can’t sit still for very long :), we have a hands-on program: Come and immerse yourself in the world of ballet and the story of THE BLUE BIRD with us.

We invite little dancers to join us on our first playful journey of discovery into the world of ballet. In the 30-minute session, children can:

Dance creatively & move to music
Watch ballet films & listen to exciting stories
Learn simple ballet movements in a playful way
Learn all about ballet, dance, and theater, and maybe even meet a real ballerina

(The program varies slightly depending on the date)

Mini-Movers is the perfect opportunity to experience dance and theater with lots of fun and imagination.

When? One Saturday per month (see the TANZBüro calendar for dates) – 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Where? TANZBüro (in the Kulturkaufhaus Tietz – ( Moritzstraße 20, 09111 Chemnitz)

No advance registration necessary! But please come in comfortable clothes.
