OVERHEATED - NUEPIKO DANCE COMPANY (LT)

[:en]The world of modern people is a perpetual competition and a quest for status. Inspired by this contemporary modus vivendi and their own experience of burnout, Adrian Carlo Bibiano, Marius Pinigis and Andrius Stakele, the dancers and founders of Nuepiko, have researched the phenomena of so-called overheating. By moving to get to the bottom of the causes of burnout, they constantly develop new creative possibilities of expression and turn the performance into an impressive self-reflection. A choreography, as they themselves say, „for anyone who has ever been burnt out or is unable to remain indifferent to the fires of the environment“.
