RIPPLE – TEATIME COMPANY (NL)

When the boundaries between circus and dance become blurred, the Teatime Company’s hybrid movement language emerges, translating complex ideas into accessible, charming performances—full of subtle humour and eloquent images. For ‘Ripple’, the Teatime Company specifically constructed a massive metal spiral to effectively address themes like balance, influence, power, flow, and friction. While the spiral rolls around the stage in an endless circle, the performers are constantly exposed to new challenges. The stage becomes a playing field, and any unexpected movement can change the entire situation. The performance is visually and physically captivating, stimulating both the senses and the imagination.
