COMPANY CHAMELEON (GB)
[:de]„Amaranthine“, ausgesprochen am-a-ran-thine, erforscht eine Beziehung zwischen Mann und Frau und folgt einem Paar, das verzweifelt versucht, einen Konfl ikt zu lösen und wieder zueinander zu finden. Komplex und gefühlsbetont verstrickt das Stück in ein Auf und Ab von Gefühlen und Auseinandersetzungen auf der einen Seite, Wertschätzung, Verständnis und Akzeptanz auf der anderen. Eine kraftvolle und risikofreudige Performance in einer Mischung aus zeitgenössischem Tanz, B-Boying und Capoeira.
Die Company Chameleon ist bekannt für ihren einzigartigen und athletischen Tanzstil, geprägt von Anthony Missen und Kevin Edward Turner. Die beiden hatten sich in den 1990er Jahren am Trafford Youth Dance Theatre kennengelernt und ließen sie sich an der Northern School of Contemporary Dance ausbilden. Nach ihrem Abschluss arbeiteten sie mit einigen der innovativsten Tanzkompanien und Choreographen der Welt und gründeten 2007 schließlich ihre eigene Company. Heute ist Company Chameleon international auf Tournee und gibt jedes Jahr über 50 Vorstellungen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Auf diese Weise haben sie Tausenden von jungen Menschen aus aller Welt eine andere Seite des Tanzes und der Bewegung nähergebracht.

Complex and emotive, the play entangles in an ebb and flow of feelings and arguments on the one hand, appreciation, understanding and acceptance on the other. A powerful and risk-taking performance in a mixture of contemporary dance, b-boying and capoeira.
Company Chameleon is known for its unique and athletic dance style, coined by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner. The two met at Trafford Youth Dance Theatre in the 1990s and trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. After graduating, they worked with some of the most innovative dance companies and choreographers in the world and eventually founded their own company in 2007. Today, Company Chameleon tours internationally, giving over 50 indoor and outdoor performances each year. In doing so, they have introduced thousands of young people from all over the world to a different side of dance and movement.
