[:de]Hands Down ist ein kraftvolles und gefühlsbetontes Männerduett. Es untersucht die Spannungen in einer Beziehung und hinterfragt wie wir Stärke zeigen oder auch mit Verletzlichkeit umgehen. Das Stück erforscht die Idee des Wandelns auf einem Drahtseil der Zweisamkeit und die Art und Weise, wie wir loslassen und festhalten, um eine Bindung aufzubauen oder zu brechen.

Die Company Chameleon ist bekannt für ihren einzigartigen und athletischen Tanzstil, geprägt von Anthony Missen und Kevin Edward Turner. Die beiden hatten sich in den 1990er Jahren am Trafford Youth Dance Theatre kennengelernt und ließen sie sich an der Northern School of Contemporary Dance ausbilden. Nach ihrem Abschluss arbeiteten sie mit einigen der innovativsten Tanzkompanien und Choreographen der Welt und gründeten 2007 schließlich ihre eigene Company. Heute ist Company Chameleon international auf Tournee und gibt jedes Jahr über 50 Vorstellungen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Auf diese Weise haben sie Tausenden von jungen Menschen aus aller Welt eine andere Seite des Tanzes und der Bewegung nähergebracht.

It explores the tensions in a relationship and questions how we show strength or even deal with vulnerability. The piece explores the idea of walking a tightrope of togetherness and the way we let go and hold on to make or break a bond.

Company Chameleon is known for its unique and athletic style of dance, coined by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner. The two had met at Trafford Youth Dance Theatre in the 1990s and went on to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. After graduating, they worked with some of the most innovative dance companies and choreographers in the world, eventually forming their own company in 2007. Today, Company Chameleon tours internationally, giving over 50 performances each year, both indoors and out. In this way, they have introduced a different side of dance and movement to thousands of young people from all over the world.
