OVERHEATED - NUEPIKO DANCE COMPANY (LT)

[:en]Die Welt moderner Menschen ist ein immerwährender Wettbewerb und eine Suche nach dem Status. Inspiriert von diesem zeitgenössischen modus vivendi und der Erfahrung eigener Burnouts haben Adrian Carlo Bibiano, Marius Pinigis und Andrius Stakele, die Tänzer und Gründer von Nuepiko, die Phänomene der so genannten Überhitzung erforscht. Indem sie den Ursachen des Ausgebranntseins bewegt auf den Grund gehen, entwickeln sie immer neue kreative Möglichkeiten des Ausdrucks und lassen die Performance zu einer eindrucksvollen Selbstreflexion werden. Eine Choreografie, wie sie selbst sagen, „für alle, die schon einmal ausgebrannt waren oder nicht in der Lage sind, den Feuern der Umwelt gegenüber gleichgültig zu bleiben“.

[:en]The world of modern people is a perpetual competition and a quest for status. Inspired by this contemporary modus vivendi and their experience of burnout, Adrian Carlo Bibiano, Marius Pinigis and Andrius Stakele, the dancers and founders of Nuepiko, have researched the phenomena of so-called overheating. By delving into the root causes of burnout, they consistently explore innovative forms of expression, transforming the performance into a powerful self-reflection. A choreography, as they themselves say, for anyone who has ever been burned out or is unable to remain indifferent to the fires of the environment.
