A Home for Contemporary and Urban Dance

Coming soon...

Together under One Roof

The TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ Center will be the institutional heart of all our activities. It combines artistic production, education, health, inclusion and international exchange in one place.

As a center for contemporary dance, we will offer space for professional artists, up-and-coming talent and the wider public. It will be a place for research, education, participation and dialog - a combination of local engagement with international perspectives.

All three program areas are interlinked and reflect the values of the TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ Zentrum: artistic quality, accessibility, inclusion and international exchange.

Whether through professional artistic research, citizen participation or urban dance competence - the center will create a common space in which dance is lived as an artistic, social and democratic practice.
