Workshop – Jamaican Dance

As part of One Love for Jamaica invites you to an active morning full of rhythm, energy, and Jamaican zest for life. In this workshop, Adrian Wanliss, Cultural Ambassador for Jamaica, provides an insight into Jamaican dance culture – from traditional movements and social dances to modern influences from reggae and dancehall.
The workshop is open to anyone who enjoys movement, music, and cultural exchange. No prior knowledge is required – the focus is on dancing together, a sense of rhythm, expression, and experiencing Jamaica through movement.
Participation supports the fundraising campaign for post-Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica.
