Music workshop for students

As part of One Love for Jamaica loading TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ e.V. together with the Municipal Music School Chemnitz to a lively music workshop with the Jamaican singer, entertainer and musician Steve Higgins one.
The focus is on Jamaican folk songs, reggae, rhythm, voice, and singing together. Steve Higgins gives participants a musical insight into Jamaica's culture, combining energy, joy, call-and-response, and cultural exchange.
The workshop is aimed at music school students as well as anyone interested – adults are also very welcome. Afterwards, at 5:00 pm a small final presentation for parents, families, friends, and guests takes place.
The workshop is part of the charity project One Love for Jamaica and supports the fundraising campaign for relief efforts after Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
