The Leistungszentrum Breaking konzentriert sich auf Breaking als hochkarätige Performance-Praxis und integrative Kulturform. Das Programm unterstützt junge Talente, aufstrebende Profis und erfahrene Tänzer*innen durch strukturiertes Training, Wettbewerbe, Bildungsformate und internationalen Austausch. Außerdem stellt es den urbanen Tanz in einen Dialog mit zeitgenössischem Tanz, Musik, bildender Kunst und Stadtgesellschaft.
As a center of excellence, it will contribute to the professionalization and recognition of urban dance, while remaining true to its inclusive, community-based roots.
