Workshop VI for ages 60+
September 19 | 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

with Terry Pedersen Pfeiffer
Chemnitz is one of the cities in Europe with the highest average age. Half of its residents are older than 52. Dancing together is a wonderful tool against loneliness in old age, to promote mobility, and to slow down the progression of dementia and Parkinson's disease. Since March 2024, there has been the SilberTANZClub, a dance theater group for the over-60s. The program has been very well received and the demand is high. We want to offer daily classes for the Silver Swans and establish a new SilberTANZ stage as a platform for new DANCE creations by seniors. This workshop offers a small glimpse into the teaching style of the SilberTANZClub.
Participation for everyone aged 60 and over!
