COMPANY CHAMELEON (GB)

“Push” is a powerful and empathetic duet that plays with the different stances we take to understand and relate to each other. The piece explores the complex nature of our psychology – how we sometimes push to exert dominance and control and other times choose to step back and submit.

Company Chameleon is known for its unique and athletic dance style, coined by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner. The pair met at Trafford Youth Dance Theatre in the 1990s and trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. After graduating, they worked with some of the most innovative dance companies and choreographers in the world and eventually founded their own company in 2007. Today, Company Chameleon tours internationally, giving over 50 indoor and outdoor performances each year. In this way, they have introduced thousands of young people from all over the world to a different side of dance and movement.
